PRP for Skin Rejuvenation

Platelet Rich Plasma (or PRP) treatments are a natural, gradual way to improve the appearance of your skin. It works by reintroducing growth factors to the skin using your own platelets for the micro-injections. The growth factors are powerful proteins that stimulate collagen synthesis, reducing the effects of aging on the skin. PRP is most popular for treatment of the face, under eye area, neck and decolletage. 

This treatment has been used for years for the treatment of sports injuries and hair loss, and has gained popularity with skin rejuvenation after being widely publicized for it's incredible results by many celebrities, including Kim Kardashian.

Following a consultation with our physician, topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area to ensure the client's comfort. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient and is treated in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. The PRP is then injected using a mesotherapy gun for even distribution and a comfortable treatment. We can also combine the PRP with Hyaluronic Acid (learn more here), or apply it topically or by injection following a Microneedling, Skin Resurfacing or Fraxel treatment. Gradually, the collagen synthesis will reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and bring more luminosity to the skin. Three treatments are required for optimal results with maintenance treatments.
