PRP for Hair Loss

Platelet Rich Plasma (or PRP) treatments are a natural, gradual way to improve hair loss (alopecia). It works by reintroducing growth factors to the hair follicles using your own platelets for the micro-injections. The growth factors are powerful proteins that stimulate hair growth, increasing fullness and promoting healthy hair. PRP is an excellent non-surgical alternative to hair transplant surgery. It is indicated for thinning hair, discreet loss of hair, bald patches and male pattern baldness.

Following a consultation with our physician, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient and is prepared with specialized equipment to separate the platelets and release the growth factors. The PRP is then injected using a mesotherapy injection gun for even distribution and a comfortable treatment. Gradually, the growth factors will stimulate the hair follicles for hair growth. Three treatments are required for optimal results with maintenance treatments once per year.
