Jawline & Chin Enhancement
Typical aging of the face can lead to a less pronounced chin and jawline which leaves skin looking loose and jowls more prominent. Also, many clients come strictly because they feel they have always had a weak jawline or are unhappy with their lower facial structure.
Our physicians will start with a consultation to discuss your goals and will develop a personalized treatment plan to address the area of concern from a comprehensive approach. Treatments for the chin and jawline may include fillers and/or neuromodulators to create the desired result. These different types of filler are used to create different affects along the jawline and chin. White Rock Skin & Laser Clinic always takes a comprehensive approach to facial restructuring therefore it is also important to note that for the face to look proportionate and balanced, fillers may be used in the upper face to balance the facial structure and lift sagging skin.
Other products, such as Sculptra, Radiesse and Redexis, may be used for added balance, support and structure along the jawline and chin. Sculptra, a collagen boosting injection, stimulates the production of collagen and is a long lasting solution to aging skin. This restores volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time. Radiesse is a dermal filler that is not comprised of hyaluronic acid. It is comprised of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. Once injected, it gives an immediate result and as it metabolizes, it leaves behind your own collagen which leads to results that can last over a year. These products work beautifully in conjunction with traditional treatments to reshape or redefine the chin and jawline.
Clients are made comfortable during treatment with the use of topical anesthetic, ice and distraction tools. If you'd like to talk to our physicians about facial aging overall, or in the chin and jawline, book your consultation today.
